In Washington DC, America’s seat of power, Georgetown University prepares to make history with their inaugural Africa Business Conference, Africa Rising: Business in Action. Hosted by Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business in conjunction with the Walsh School of Foreign Service’s African Studies Program, the conference takes place on February 6th 2016.
The event brings together African leaders from across the continent discussing the growth and potential future impact of the private sector in Africa’s growth narrative. Political, business and academic leaders alike will look at the developments and trends of technology, private equity, music, banking and more, hearing speakers from companies including Atlas Mara, Abraaj, World Bank, TRACE Urban, iRoko Partners, Trade Africa and Coca-Cola.
